An interested passerby checks out the COPE display and information at the Fairview Street Canadian Tire store. In a generous expression of social responsibility, the owner allowed us to set up there on several weekends in December. Once again, we found support for our cause to be overwhelming.
	December 10, 2002. A protected wetland in West Flamborough. Best estimates as to the final route suggest that this wetland will be one of many paved over, should the MPH be built.
	December 8, 2002. A view of the potential route down the Escarpment in Burlington, shot a few yards from the Bruce Trail. Take a good look at the unspoiled nature of the territory above highway #5, the City's current barrier against urban sprawl. In the upper right, the subdivisions lie in wait, as if poised to leap #5 and swarm up the hill, once encouraged by the MPH.
