We share the Escarpment with many who cannot speak out for themselves in defense of their territory, their need to have a place to safely rear their young, or their need of open spaces. They speak to us only through their grace and beauty.The Escarpment is home to many farms that have been in the same families for generations. Locally grown food reduces the need for long-haul truck traffic and contributes to a diversified economy.
